Reporting to the VP Marketing & Sales Europe, the successful candidate will contribute to the expansion of MTB's business in Europe through proactive business development and post sales service. Candidates for this role must be located within a commutable distance to Stuttgart, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the bullion (precious metals) market, customers, products & pricing
- Provide exceptional proactive customer service including on-site visits and travels
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing B2B customers
- Further develop MTB’s European pricing and distribution strategy
- Coordinate sales efforts with the New York sales & trading team as well as the MKS PAMP minting division in Switzerland
- Lead own commercial initiatives based on market opportunities
- Support our product development team in creating innovative concepts and products for investors and collectors
- Maintain several internal processes, workbooks and other various functions with a continuous improvement mindset
Education & experience
- University Graduate in Business, Sales & Marketing, or related field
- Ideally 1-2 years of demonstrated sales and customer service experience
Skills and competences
- Proven ability to take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions through strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Hands-on mentality and ability to flourish in dynamic environments.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German are required; other languages are a plus.
- Ideally experience in or demonstrated passion for precious metals.
- European citizen or holder of a valid work permit in the country of residence.
